IB 50 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago
I have just received Ib 50 through the post
I have a mental health condition of anxiety/depression which has not changed in last 18 months.
I have spoken to an independent advisor who told me to fill in the physical part if it affects my mental health but to concentrate on page 16.
I was wondering if some one could give me a link to help me fill in this form in the most effective way possible on mental health grounds.
I have 2 supporting letters from my G.p and Psychiatrist and possibly another one from mind.
I am on different medication since 18 months ago
Any help would be welcome.
It is due back on 29 0ct
Many thanks
Hugh

As usual, I recommend the guides in the members area, and would advise you refer to the "The Best Possible Incapacity for Work Claims on Mental Health Grounds", which is available HERE.

Another useful guide can be viewed by following the link HERE.

I Hope these guides are of some assistance for you?

Hi Hugh,

Go to the members area for Incapacity Benefit Resources HERE
and download the guides on 'Incapacity for work claims'

There are separate guides for mental and physical health problems.

Hope this helps. I'm not too well myself at the moment, so limited to the amount I can come online.

Best wishes.

Jim
