The Disability Handbook [DHB] is used by DWP Decision Makers and DLA Tribunals to help them to assess the likely mobility and/or care needs of those with certain illness or disability.

However, the DHB is very much out of date, the last revision being in 1998. The DWP plan to eventually replace the DHB with an online A-Z of Medical Conditions, indeed for some conditions this has already taken place.
