I wouldn't worry if the only form you are waiting for is an IB50 relating to the Personal Capability Assessment. It is the responsibility of the DWP to send it to you.

The vast majority of IB awards are for an indefinite period, and unless you have been told specifically that your IB is a fixed term award, then it is not due for "renewal" but "review". In these circumstances, your IB will be paid at least up to the time of the PCA.

Hi Angie

My IB was due to be looked on (approx) 15 February 2008. By the beginning of February, I had not received a form.

After the 15 February, no IB was paid into my bank account. I contacted my local office and they could see that I had not been sent a form. They did not know why this had happened.

They sent me giro to cover me until the IB was re-started. They also sent me the form!

I guess there could be other reasons why you have not received a form, but I am just letting you know my experience.

Also, I do remember a few years back on a previous review that I did not receive the form until about 3 months after the review date on my letter.

Hope this helps.

TPF

Hi

I am due a review on 2nd June 2008 and I have not received a form yet! I did call DWP twice over the last couple of months and they said we will probably write to your GP first and then may or may not send a form to me!
Don't think they know until the date arrives and then they make the decisions from there! They said just wait to hear from them.

It is horrible waiting and not knowing what they are going to do next.
