As Jim previously advised you can have an a EMP visit your home if you require such. Give the DLA office a ring on the number Jim gave and request one. Also notice that the letter says "we now arrange appointments at an examination centre as appropriate" ergo if it isn't appropriate to visit an examination centre then a home visit will be made.

Will have another go, Yesterday I phoned the DWP to tell them my wife would not be able to attend the arranged medical at the local examination centre and could she have a home visit. Well the answer wasn't what I expected! He told me that he had no record of a medical being arranged. I told him " I have it in front of me " It states " we have been asked by the DWP to arrange a medical examination to assist them in deciding your entitlement to DLA". dated 21/9/08 from Medical Servies. He told me that a decision had been made and a letter sent out which I now have It reads I have decided you are not entitled to DLA mobility or care components from and including 29/05/08 and do not qualify before 29/05/08 "this relates to a period when we requested a claim pack but none were sent out" Also the letter at the end of her Nat. Ins No is different on the Med Cetre letter. He told me We could ask to have the decision looked at again or appeal. What now ? Steve
