Self harming and the new ESA assessments 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
On Incapacity Benefit, if it was judged that you would "harm yourself or others" if turned down for the benefit, they had to pass you at your medical. It wasn't a descriptor. It was an over-arching rule.

If you go to an ESA medical and they judge that you will harm yourself if rejected, does the same rule apply?

I have just read the guide and there appears to be an exception for it, also the exception is there twice it can be used to promote someone to the support group.

Thanks for replying.

Which guide is that? Is it the "Understanding ESA.pdf"?
