TOPIC: ESA revision to WRAG before appeal

ESA revision to WRAG before appeal 1 year 6 months ago #77277

Just a note to thank everyone on here, I have read and absorbed huge amounts of information in supporting my friend to provide more evidence to the decision maker as the ATOS recommendation was refusal of ESA transfer from IB.

I'm pleased to say she has been told the new evidence is sufficient and she is now happy in the WRAG less than a month from the initial "you have 6 points" "more information" call and letter.

For those getting no/few points, I hope this gives you some encouragement that you may not have to be dragged through an appeal.

I hope it will not break forum rules to say that one thing I needed to do was provide evidence that my friend had filled one section of the ESA50 incorrectly, saying she didn't have a problem that she in fact does have.

Medical support from the GP, was accepted as over-riding her initial submission.

I would not have been able to get all the evidence in in the time they originally allowed and wouldn't have known that I could ask for an extension to 4 weeks if it hadn't been for your forum.

Thank you all, moderators in particular!
