TOPIC: Thanks B and W

Thanks B and W 1 year 1 month ago #85441

A big thank you to B and W I got into WRAG without a medical in january with 2 year prognosis and today recieved results of my DLA review, no change so retain HRM and MRC but this time indefinitely...agan without need of a medical and the whole process took only just over three weeks. Just goes to showthe benefit of giving lots of evidence.
I do have a disabled shower wet/room and disabled toilet being installed quite soon so dunno if theyll revisit those two elements of care but I got the care for other things too- moving around indoors, steps, dressing getting in and out of a chair etc so I doubt it'll affect it much as I did send them a letter telling of the imminent adaptation and how I woould still have isues and likely need assistance with showering and toilet needs anyway as I already use such adaptations at local leisure centre with help of a friend and sill require assistance. But Im more than happy with the outcome so it isnt all bad news.. Thanksagain for the detailed DLA resources.... Now for the battle with PIP

Ive had DLA since 2004 Ms Hurtyback and have always done ok with the claim forms but in ecent years it has gott harder and the forms are more devious so the B and W site is invaluable....
