TOPIC: Review

Review 11 months 2 weeks ago #87176

Hi all, I am currently appealing to be moved from the WRAG to the support group and was wondering if anyone could help me please. If I was moved from the WRAG into the support group, either now (during the reconsideration stage) or after the tribunal and was told that my next review would be, for instance, in 2 years time what then happens about the review that they said I would have 6 months after I was put in the WRAG? Does this then get disregarded (assuming I haven't already had it before the tribunal)? Everything is so complex with this benefit, it is so frustrating. Many thanks.

The Tribunal doesn't set the date of your next assessment, the DWP do that. so you will only have one review date on your file. However, as you suspect, it is highly likely that you will have had your review before your appeal is heard (if the recon does not go in your favour).

Hi, sorry about this but I'm still a bit confused. If I were reviewed before my appeal and whether I was kept in the WRAG or moved into the support group what then happens about my appeal/tribunal? Thanks.

Hi,

Your tribunal appeal would still go ahead regardless as it would deal with the period between the original decision to put you in the WRAG and the date of any subsequent review.
