Was the person you spoke to an Atos approved disability analyst (ADA) [sometimes a doctor], or an ESA decision maker from the DWP?

The reason I ask is because it would be extremely unlikely that an Atos ADA would speak to a claimant directly about an ESA decision arising from the WCA, but it may very well have happened in your case?

It is difficult to deduce from your post exactly who you were speaking to on the telephone, but whoever it was, there maybe a possibility that the DWP may change their original decision to place you in the WRAG and place you in the support group?

With the benefit of hindsight it may have been preferable to identify precisely who you were speaking to on the 'phone, but hindsight is a wonderful thing and I appreciate that being caught unawares as to the purpose of the call, it is very easy to forget to ask what may be appear to be an obvious question.

All you can really do now is to await the decision from the DWP.
