DLA 9 months 2 weeks ago #90016

Hi with 2 appeals pending for ESA I have got my DLA 'renewal' today. Can you tell me has the new system come into action now, I thought I read somewhere it started in 2013. so will I be examined under the old system? The amount of pressure is extreme, im so tired.

The DLA renewal will take place under the current system as the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) which will replace DLA for working age claimants between the ages of 16 and 64, does not come into force until April 2013.

Is this a good thing or bad? Will I have to have a PIP assessment next year. I usually get DLA and Motability for 3 years. Thankyou

Thankyou Mrs Hurty back, I have looked at the suggested ssite and that of the DWP, Rhetorical question what are they trying to do to us, did I mention Im tired with the whole thing. Would have given up if not for your site. Thankyou
