TOPIC: Action Plan - WRA group

Action Plan - WRA group 8 months 4 weeks ago #90945

I was transfered from IB to ESA without a medical and placed in the WRA group (which I have appealed but am waiting to hear about) and attended my 2nd WFI recently - But I have just got through the post a formal "Action Plan" with target dates - I have to e-mail by Psychatrist to ask him what work related activity I could do and then send my advisor his reply.

But I don't know what is meant by work related activity and I would have to meet with my Pdoc to discuss in some detail what this might mean and what I could do. We've only really discussed my medical treatment. I certainly can't do it in an e-mail and I don't see why I should have to share private e-mails between me and my doctor with the Job Centre (My Pdoc has already provided them with a medical report)

This "action plan" wasn't mentioned at the interview or what happens if I can't do it or anything.

can anyone help?

FoxyLady2, hope you don't mind me joining your thread and asking a question.

I clicked on the links you recommended to FoxyLady2 and read the section below
Upper Age Limit
You cannot be asked to attend a WFI if you have reached or passed the upper age limit.

For a woman this is their State Retirement Age.
For a man this is the State Retirement Age of a woman born on the same day.

I have had a tiring day so I can't get my head around the second statement for a man. The reason I ask is that I was born in July 1950, If a woman was born that date would she have reached the state retirement age? I have a my first WFI next week.

Old Man

All it means is that, rather than calculating your State Retirement Age as a man, you do it as a woman.

The SRP for a woman born 1 July 1950 is 6 September 2010.
