A Tribunal can refuse to accept evidence on the day if it was reasonable for it to have been submitted earlier, so if you are considering sending further evidence or a submission, better explaining your care and mobilty needs, you need to do so in advance of the hearing and not less than two weeks before actual the date.

Hi Marin,

The reason why it's best to send further evidence in advance is so the Clerk to the Tribunal will have time to make copies to send to all 3 members of your DLA Tribunal well in advance of the date of your appeal. This will ensure that the members have time to read it before your appeal date.

It is permissible to actually submit further evidence on the day of the appeal, so long as it's only a brief document, no longer than about 1 sheet of A4 or less.

Good luck
