Hi , Many thanks to you all who have replied .
I had the meeting with the gP , and yes he did ask me about
my illness and how it affects me on a daily basis . It wasnt my usual GP i see so he asked me in to help him fill the form in . Everything went well with the meeting and i answerd everthing as well as i could .
The GP said that as far as he was aware , the next step would be for me to go for a medical , it was only people with a terminal illness that are exempt from medicals .
So ... fingers crossed the medical goes well , its awful waiting to here from the DWP .
Kind regards to you all
Tilly T :)

Hi TT,

I am afraid that your G.P. is misinformed.

Many members have had awards of ESA without the need for a "medical".

Therfore the comment regarding only terminally ill people not having to attend a "medical" is totally incorrect.

ATOS may generate a medical report, on "paper scrutiny" alone, if they feel that they already have enough information.

Thankyou bro 58 ,
OOh so i might not need to go for a medical ..after all ?? . If they have enough information on my illness.. i MIGHT go straight onto ESA ...Is it then you find if you are in the Support group or WRAG ....its so confusing isnt it .
Were on earth would we be without B W moderaters.
Regards TT :)
