I have just been transferd from IB to ESA, got the P45 last week. I should have been paid today but nothing has gone in the bank, is this usual at changover? I am appealing by the way.

I don't know if it's a changeover thing, but my first payment of ESA after my transfer from IB was a few days late... working fine now, so maybe it's just a glitch? Good luck with your appeal :)

The DWP pay benefits based on your National Insurance Number, see

Benefit payment dates

If today was your payment date, not necessarily the day you normally receive it, then you should contact the DWP and ask for an update, there should be a contact number on any of the letters sent in connection with your claim.

Mine used to be paid on a friday with IB when i went onto ESA it changed to the Monday.

This happened to me. I got the P45 and letter saying my IB had ceased. Got no payment on the Friday. I was frantic. The money was paid in 3days later on the Monday. This is the day I regularly receive my ESA payment now.

Same with my husbands money used to be Friday now a Monday.
Are we supposed to do anything with the P45?
