My assessment was cancelled two hours prior to appointment and although I had requested and been told it was to be a recorded assessment,they confirmed they had not arranged this. She then said they had recieved an e-mail but it had'nt been arranged. Shoud I write to them requesting this and ask for confirmation or should I just wait for a new appointment and then ring the assessment centre. Advice appreciated.

The point is that you can only cancel 2 appointments - a 3rd cancellation by you counts as a "no-show". We have the re-assurance of the minister that any cancellation because they have failed to provide recording equipment will not count as one of the claimant's "two strikes" - but sometimes Atos need reminding of that.
