TOPIC: Phew!!!!! ESA

Phew!!!!! ESA 8 months 2 days ago #93239

ESA Support Group............Well we completed the form and sent it off. We were really expecting the news that my husband would have to go for a medical and maybe even through an appeal. But hey it was good news, he was placed in the support group without a medical. We could not believe it as had to go through all of that for his DLA (which he won). I did send off the result of his tribunal for DLA as part of the evidence (not sure if this had any reflection). I would like to say thank you for this page, as I did read up on ESA before we completed the form and the advice I read certainly did help us get the result we wanted. A big thank you.

That is good news :)

Thank you for letting us know, and for your positive comments regarding B&W.

If you wish to know how long his Support Group award will last before he is re-assessed, you should request the ESA85A medical report.

This can be done over the phone, you may wish to back up such a request in writing, also.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Thank you Bro I will do that. The next hurdle will be when he has to be assessed for PIP. But I will look on this page for advice. Thanks again.
