I emailed my M.P. about my concerns that older claimants in thier late 50's and early 60's with disabilities would be found capable of work.He replied to say my email had been passed on to Mr Shaw.Going by the responses on this thread,it seems I have wasted my time.My local MP, Peter Hepburn,made no comments of his own.

Obviously they want everyone to side against anyone claiming sick or disabled benefits.

The amount they are payng every year is miniscule compared to what it cost to bail out the banks. Why don't they take bank bonuses and use that money to fund disability, I am sure they would have change at the end of the year.
