Staying on ESA for ever.
In the news letter I received today. Under the above heading it states in the final pragraph.
so will need the continued support of a GP who genuinely believes that they should not be forced onto JSA or back into work.

How can you get the support of a GP if you are with a group practice and you can't get to see a regular one.
You only have a limited amount of time to explain you situation and most of the time they are either writing or looking at you notes on the computer.
If you are chronicaly ill all they do is give you continued treatment or regular blood tests and repeat medication.
They haven't got a clue as to how your personal life is affected by the illness you may have.
It is just another barrier and hurdle we have to get over. It makes you wonder what is the point of it all.
Why not just tell them forget it and accept the life they are all forcing us into, hardship, poverty, stress and misery.

The GP's will all be applying for ESA as a result of this. I know as one who attends my GP very rarely and only when really necessary to do so. I will be making a lot more appointments, so will a whole lot more. Maybe when the GP's all end up "on the sick" will the government sit up and realise.
