I now have it from good authority that Youreable's forums will not open in the foreseeable future, which in my opinion is interpretative that they won't open again.

My opinion is supported, by numerous e-mails sent to the Disability Living Foundation (DLF) which either have received no reply, or have just been re-referred me to send an e-mail to the DLF, but numerous e-mails to them remain unanswered.

As I'm sure you're aware www.youreable.com was one of the biggest, although not necessarily the most accurate disability related web sites in the UK.

Therefore, because of our reputation of giving valid, credible and up-to-date information on benefits and related issues, we can expect a substantial increase for membership of B & W.

This will inevitably lead to a delay in moderators answering benefits queries. This coupled with a problem in members changing their screen name which means we cannot reply to PM's is also causing further problemss.

In the circumstances, I respectfully request that you bear with us in clearing posts for moderation, replying to benefits queries and related matters.
