There is a list of DWP executives at the bottom of the following page.

www.gov.uk/government/organisations/depa...nt-for-work-pensions

They should all be contactable via Caxton House, full address on the above page as well.

You say you appealed to the Upper Tribunal in "May 12" I assume from your previous posts you mean May this year and not 2012? The first stage to an appeal to the Upper Tribunal is to request a written Statement of Reasons and the Record of Proceedings from the Judge of her hearing, this usually takes 3-4 months to be returned.

Once you have the SoR and RofP you can see whether there are any Errors of Law, you can only appeal if there has been an Error, not because you disagree with the Decision. Appeals to the UTT are covered by Legal Aid, I would recommend a Welfare Advisor with experience in this area over a solicitor who may have little or no knowledge of benefit law.

Tribunals – Requesting a Statement of Reasons

What is an Error of Law?

Disability Rights UK Factsheet - Appeals and reconsiderations

You can request a re-assessment as a result of a deterioration of your sisters conditions, whilst this is undoubtedly worth her while if you think that she meets the Support Group criteria, but I have to warn you that there are still considerable delays in the ESA assessment system and it could easily take another year for a new Decision to be made and she remains in the WRAG and subject to WRA while this process is undertaken.

Contact her local DWP office (not JC+) and make the request, if you do it by phone, make sure you follow it up in writing.

Hi CB,

I can see where you are coming from ! :)

However, in keeping with the friendly, inviting, safe ethos of B&W, I have replaced your comments with my own.

I am sure that you will understand !! :)
