More good news :-)

We did a Mandatory Reconsideration letter - I attached a copy of the letter where I corrected the report to reflect the events of the ESA medical and also the new recent hospital admission. I am pleased to say, the case has been reviewed and the decision changed. My relative is now in the support group (which is truly where he should be).

Thanks again to everyone involved in this website. Things have been stressful, but with the support and expert knowledge from this site, I felt confident about dealing with all the paperwork and challenging the decisions. You have taken a lot of pressure off for me. Thanks again everyone.

Congratulations, I'm glad to hear it was sorted without you having to go to appeal.

Thank you for your comments about B&W.

Thanks, they are two brothers and sadly they really don't have anyone to support them. Things got really bad a few weeks back - I was visiting one brother on one ward and then leaving him to visit the other brother on another ward!!

Some people tell me off for getting involved (people say they are not my responsibility), but I just can't turn my back on these lads. It isn't their fault they are mentally unwell. I can now relax peacefully knowing both young men have a decent roof over their heads, and the money they are genuinely entitled too, they can now afford to have their heating on, buy the food they need (without having to resort to food banks) and have a respectable amount of money to have a bit of a life.

It breaks my heart at how hard the Government make things for the people who are disadvantaged by mental health issues. They are vulnerable people and the policy makers should be ashamed of themselves because, in my opinion, these forms and the hoops you have to go through, are deliberate obstacles put in place to trick people into not getting their full legal entitlement. Sorry, I'm ranting :-(

Thanks though, you really have been such a help to me - god bless you all x
