I phoned up the DWP last friday to ask about the SDP and they said they received the form on the 30th December but no one has looked at it yet so she is going to get them to look at it. Just had a letter and I am entitled to it :) .

Great News M, :)

Payment of The Severe Disability Premium (SDP) should be backdated to the start date of your entitlement to it.

Hi. I just phoned up the tribunal services again and was told that they had sent of for more information to the DWP on the 24th. That was a Saturday so don't know if that date is correct. Then I will be called in for another hearing. I told her that they had told me that I would not have to go to another hearing and she said that if I was told that then I would not have to, she only said that as one the system it says that they have adjourned it with no decision. Not I am very worried I will have to go back to the tribunal again.

I am afraid that you are leading the charge on this one, so we can't predict what is going to happen with your appeal.

It is possible that there will be a further hearing if the information that the DWP provide to the Tribunal, about the Work Related Activity they might expect you to do, suggests that a Support Group award is not justified, I would expect you to be given an opportunity to argue that it was.

All we can suggest at the moment is that you try to keep calm and wait to see what happens, I appreciate that this will be far easier said than done.

Would I have to attend. I don't know if I can face another tribunal. I had 2 in December and they don't get any easier.

If one is required then you could make a written submission but as always the chances of success are far higher if you attend.
