Thank you Gordon. The main thing I wanted was to be found unfit for work. U did not mind what group they was going to put me in.

Hopefully it will not need to go to another hearing and even if it does I would expect it only to be concerned with the Work Related Activity that the DWP might ask you to do.

Hi. well after thinking I was nearing the end of my ESA nightmare I had a letter yesterday informing me that the Tribunal Service had received a request on the 2/2/15 to extend the time for the production of of the appeal response. The extension has been granted until 20 March 2015.

I phoned up the Tribunal Services on Monday and they have not had anything from the DWP since they asked for an extension. So I have had to wait an extra month for them to get there evidence of WRA ready and they have done nothing.

I have been phoning the Tribunal Service over the last couple of weeks. Was told that the Judge had my case back to the 27th March and they had until 20th April to look at my case They then wrote to the DWP and told them that they now have 21 days to respond or they will make a decision on my case without any correspondence from the DWP. I spoke to my CAB adviser and she told me that she has a number of cases like mine. Not sure if they have been going on as long as mine though and the DWP had just sent the Tribunal some bullet points on what WRA they may have to do. They have had months to respond on my case. Do not know why they haven't.

Hi M,

Thanks for the update !

The DWP's failure to respond is probably down to them being short staffed.

Many of the staff that they do have are ill trained and/or incompetent.
