Thankyou for your advise,i rang up and asked for my assessment notes as you requested me to do i was amazed a cm rang up 5 mins later,he asked what i wasnt happy with and explained thst i thought my mobility component was wrong, and i needed to see what the assessor had put down on my form,he was s bit shocked ad he thought i was disagreeing with the distance i could walk,i explained about driving to unfamiliar places and thst i cant ho without support as i get disoriented, and anxious, even just talking about it brought made me panicky,he agreed thst my condition can do this, and he would see what the assessor comments were.
Well i recieved the report today, and on the planning journey she just wrote is able to plan journey unaided, this was not a true statement,i reporters thst before my illness i would drive anywherebut since my illness i am unable to drive out because of the effects it has on me and i need someone with me.
The cm said he was going to look at the evidence i know that i wrote in my pip claim i have difficulties in this ares.but the assessor wrote no evidence when asked and none on original notes.
I cant understand this as i know we said i cant do this and need someone with me.
If they go with the assessor notes they will not award me points.can you advise what i can do

Thankyou

This is a difficult area, the test primarily looks at the difficulties someone would have going when walking or travelling on public transport, the use of a car is not specifically excluded but I think it likely that it would be treated as supporting evidence for the two modes above, rather than in it's own right.

So if you only have problems travelling in a car and not walking or using public transport, then I think it unlikely that you would score points.

If you do have problems when walking or using public transport then you might be best advised on explaining these issues in more detail rather than concentrating on the car issues.

If you have supplied evidence in or with your PIP form then you should direct the Decision Maker to it either when you speak to them or in your MR request or any submission that you make in support of your MR.
