Sorry if Im being a bit dense here, but when you say 20 week lead time, what exactly does that mean?

Sorry.

The DWP allow a 20 week lead time (in theory, the reality is significantly different) to process a transfer from DLA to PIP, the 20 weeks runs back from the DLA renewal date, so using today as the starting date they should not be inviting anybody to claim PIP who's DLA award ends before 13 March 2015.

That is why I am saying that you award, which renews in January 2015, should be excluded (on this occasion) from being transferred to PIP.
