DLA - Current award was created by lynsababe
My current award of DLA runs out in March 2015. I understood that if I got the completed form back before the end date of the current award this would be OK. However, I'm so sure now, as I have read on this site that if you haven't been given a new award before the end date of the current one, the payments will stop. I am now unsure when to return the forms.

There are actually two issues where you are seeing one. :)

You must return your forms before your current award ends, or your claim will be terminated and your only option will be to make a new claim for PIP.

If the DWP have not made a Decision on your renewal by the time that your current award end then your current payments will stop, but any new award will be backdated to the end of your current award.

You have to be logged in to access content in the Members area, you are obviously logged in now as you have created a post, but if you tried accessing the link before logging in then you will need to try it again.

If you are logged in and still unable to access the link then I am afraid that you will need to contact our office about the problem as the Mods have no access to subscription information.

The office can be emailed on

I was logged in, I am currently logged in, and clicking on that link takes me to a page titled "Purchase New Subscription" with a popup saying "System message" "You cannot view this article".

Obviously my first move, despite no previous indication my subscription had expired, was to check my subscription status - it is still current and got 10 days on it.
