Hi that's great news, so pleased for you. I read that you sent off with your claim form letters from OT and autism outreach, my concern is my son is nearly 19 and due to the government funding or lack of for kids with autism once they reach 18 I don't know if I can get letters from our autism outreach. We have used them since he was diagnosed at 8 yrs old and they did help me apply and win DLA. Can anyone help as my son still has the same problems and now he's older a lot more problems have arisen like finances communicating to others by himself, most people expect him to talk and ask questions for himself but then they soon figure out I have to do the talking for him. Also with cooking it's something he cannot do without my help and support. The new PIP form seems to highlight more of his dissability than when it was DLA. Again congrats hope you get what you deserve. sorry to harp on , but Ilike you get really stressed over our autistic kids and only want the best for them.
