so i informed ESA and was sent a form to fill in and send back to them which i did.
I was called in by my own doctor because ESA had sent her a form to fill in and she did fill it in.

Hi P,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

As you have informed the DWP of a deterioration/change in your condition, which is classed as reporting a Change of Circumstances, (C of C) they will review your current WRAG award.

This is known as a Supersession/Review.

As a result of reporting The C of C, it seems that The DWP have sent you a fresh ESA50 Questionnaire to fill in and return, hopefully with the aid of our ESA Claims Guides on this page :

ESA Claims Guides

From what you say, The DWP have also sent an : ESA 113 Questionnaire which your G.P. has filled in and returned.

It is good that your G.P. sought your input on this, and hopefully it should help with your review.

You may yet still be asked to attend a face to face. (Medical)

Once a decision on the review has been made, you should be informed in writing, if the review is unsuccessful, then you will have the right to request a Mandatory Reconsideration/Appeal of that decision.

If successful, and you are placed into The Support Group (SG) the SG award should be backdated to the time that you submitted your ESA50.

If you do manage to gain entry to The SG, you will no longer have to take part in WFI's or Work Related Activity. (WRA)

Hi my name is Paul.
This is my first post so go gently with me.
I have been on ESA WRAG for about 2 years but my health has got much worse since i was granted ESA.
I got in touch with ESA and asked if i could come out of ESA WRAG and go into a support group
they sent me a form to fill in which i did and sent it back, next thing is they sent a form to my doctor to fill in she called me in to have a chat about what to put down form and sent it back.

Can any body tell me what to get clued up on before i go for my assessment.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I would start by looking at our ESA Claim guides, they explain how ESA claimants are tested and what the criteria for the SG is, also. towards the back is a section which deals with the assessment and details some of the questions you are likely to be asked. The guides are on the following link

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa1

If you have any more questions, reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
