Just a quick question,

As you know i have been awarded high rate mobility DLA and middle rate care dla indefinitely,

But at some point i will be invited to go over to pip,

When this happens will it be like a fresh claim or just moved over?

Cheers
Karl.

Hi k,

As you have an Indefinite DLA award The DWP have stated that you should not be invited to claim PIP until "sometime after October 2015".

PIP has totally different qualifying criteria to DLA, (e.g. PIP is points based.) and you will have to go through a totally different/fresh assessment.

When your time comes for transfer over to PIP, you will receive a letter "Inviting" you to claim PIP.

The onus will then be on you to respond and comply within any deadlines that you are given.

If you fail to comply, your DLA award will simply cease.
