To all Members

I am sorry to have to raise this issue but the situation is becoming untenable.

It appears to have become the norm for many members to post their questions in other peoples topics or to create a new topic every time they post, this is adding significantly to the Moderators workload as we have to move posts to deal with the issue or trawl through the forum to find what advice has previously been given.

Posting in someone else's topic is not fair on the original poster, even if you think the subject of the posts are similar the likelihood is that they are not, more importantly it can lead to confusion by both the Moderators and posters as to the advice being given.

If you cannot find your posts then all you have to do is mouse click on your name in the forum or click on the Profile tab, this will show you your latest posts.

To create a new topic, just click on the New Topic Tab or buttons.

Thank you

Gordon

Here, Here Gordon !!!

It is getting out of hand and needs addressing !!

We are getting posts/queries tagged on to other members topics, duplicate posts, even though it is made clear in : This Topic that is always near the top of the forum that member's posts will not show up straight away until they have been approved by a Mod.

Posts in block capitals and/or in one solid block of text with no paragraphs/ spacing.

It simply makes our giving advice a lot more difficult, and can be most frustrating and annoying!

Recently, I have been spending nearly as much time rectifying the above issues and trying to read and understand queries as I have actually answering queries.

We are not really asking much, and will obviously make allowances for spelling, grammar and literacy issues. (i.e. we do not expect you all to be budding "William Shakespeares" ! :) )

Help us to help you !!!

In future, with any such instances I may simply choose to ignore the post and not approve it !
