Time to recover after recent DLA indefinite award

Hello
I was successful with very recent DLA reassessment and given an indefinite award which continues from 1.11.2015. The new rules mean that at any moment I could be reassessed again and invited to claim PIP. The recent DLA reassessment was physically and emotionally devastating and I couldn't cope with another assessment so soon after the last one. My question is if I was unfortunate enough to be reassessed again soon after my recent DLA assessment would it cause me problems (apart from financial loss) to let my claim lapse and claim at a later date when I have had some time to recover.
Kind regards

Obviously if you let your claim lapse you will lose money you are entitled to.
If you claim in the future it will be treated as a new claim and taken on its own merits.
