This is the one I've been given

c. Needs supervision, prompting or assistance to be able to manage therapy that takes no more than 3.5 hours a week.

as I stated in my appeal, the therapy takes longer but the time spent supporting would be in this range. It is confusing, it definitely states in the letter it is the therapy which takes this time not the prompting / support.

I'm a but confused about something though- with regards to the therapy question, it says 'You need help and support to manage therapy and that therapy takes up to 3.5 hours a week' However my therapy takes much longer than that, I thought it was the length of the time prompting or supporting which was taken into account.

Is it an error on their behalf to word it like this, or should it be the length of therapy, as it states? Thanks

The 3.5 hours refers to the supervision, prompting or assistance.

Does that make more sense

Thanks, that is correct then. I just also wanted to say thank you in being supportive when I did a paper appeal; I realise that it is usually better to attend but in my case it was much less stressful and the appeals seemed to accept that it was difficult for me due to the conditions I have. Kind regards OB.

I just got a letter from my MP, saying he had contacted them about my appeal and the DWP said they hadn't had the paperwork from HMCTS but I had sent on a copy myself, that my case would be dealt with ASAP. I had forgotten I had emailed the MP, a week ago. This might explain that things were completed quickly in the end. It seems MPs can be useful as well!
