Yes, the Tribunal Service will send DWP a copy of everything you submit.

Ok.We have been thorough and polite, but also made some quite serious criticisms of how they carried out this assessment. They were supposed to give support but didn't and I said that while I have support, other people might not and they need to really look hard at how they are doing these botched assessments. I asked them to compare it with the original, thorough assessment where i had a home visit.

I mean i actually think it's good they get to see all this really. Anyway they have my submission, the DWP response and just need to wait and here now. I think we covered everything mentioned in the DWP response. it was very vague anyway. I have a lot of evidence on the severity of my conditions and care plan etc so am hopeful but also not being too hopeful.

Do you know in general how long it takes them to do a paper appeal once all the responses are in? Many thanks.

They are usually heard quite quickly, perhaps a week or two, but I will depend on the region and how busy they are, your hearing will be heard when there is opening in the schedule, the busier the venue the longer it will likely take.

Thank you, I will let you know of the result! I have kind of put it aside in my mind and therefore feel if it is successful will be pleasantly surprised.

In the meantime, I thought I'd mention it was good advice you gave Gordon to complete the form fully each time, and not rely on them to look at previous forms or reports.

This has list me points in this assessment. In fact the assessor has basically stated I did not state any functional problems within my form, and has assessed me accordingly, despite me saying to refer to the previous form.

I am arguing in my appeal they should have offered me support with the form and looked to my other sources as they did say I should have this support in future.
