Yes- it is quite thorough although it is quite positive, lots of 'what can i do?' statements...although clearly with support.

So, I will wait for the MR response and if it fails, probably go for a paper based appeal.

Tight I am sending int he MR. The two main things I am disputing are the question on taking nutrition, that I used to get points for, and the one on taking meds and managing therapy.

For both of these there have been omissions by me in my form- i wrote the nutrition one as for preparing food, twice, by mistake, and in the nutrittion one just mentioned meds not therapy as it in my care plan.

So is it OK for me to say this and that they did promise me support with my form and an assessment and hope this is taken into consideration in the MR?

I have gone on to provide further detail on these descriptors and asked them to refer to the care plan. My consultants have clearly said I need the clearly defined care plan etc and condition is managed through meds, diet etc so unsure why they are not using it as evidence but I suppose an appeal would.

Anyway, do you think this sounds OK? I suppose it is then a question of just waiting to hear from them...

The only thing I would add is an explanation of why you missed this information from your original claim.

Ok thanks, I just misinterpreted the question due to not concentrating and repeated the question...which I suppose illustrates some of the problems I have. However I did also mention I had help with the form, and I thought my husband had checked that but I guess he was just more generally looking over it and not too familiar with it all

We just thought as they were so thorough last time and mentioned the support they would see that. Obviously not. It was a very quick reply this time so I think they haven't been very thorough.

We will see. Thank you for your patience and help.

OK so it has gone in (the MR) and has been signed for at their end. I also asked for the new report to be sent but no sign of this yet.

Do you think I need to ring them to check it is underway in a week or two (I keep worrying they might lose things)..or do they just write with the result? Do you know how long these things usually take? Many thanks

I would give it a couple of weeks before you chase them. MRs can take weeks or months, there's really no way to pre-empt this.
