PIP are slow

Hi All,

I got a call beginning of December 2015 from PIP saying I'm to claim it and forms will be sent out. I received them filled them in with help from this site. Got a text on 23rd December saying they have received my forms and they'll be in touch. Got a letter saying to do for an assessment on 3rd March. Went for that they told it would take 4 to 6 weeks and to give them a call at 4 weeks to get an update. Still to this date no decision has been made. Is it suppose to take this long? All I get is a decision should of been made by now. I was advised to put a complaint in at the beginning of last week but still not heard anything.

Yes, DWP are taking ages with PIP decisions again. The most recent information we have says 8 - 12 weeks from the face 2 face assessment

Apart from phoning DWP, the only other thing that sometimes helps is to get your MP on the case.

Well got a letter today, they've awarded me enhanced rate for mobility and standard for daily living. For just under 4 years. I was on DLA infinitely before. Calling them tomorrow to look at it again as I got 10 points for daily living I need a lot of help for washing and dressing. Can I ask them to look at the length of the award again or just the components?
