I think i found the regulations to which they comply but can not make any sense of it all..
it is The Job Seeker’s Allowance Regulations 2013

I did actually mean for the DWP to quote the references to you, it's not unusual for the fromt line staff to make "decisions" that are not actually supported by the legislation in the hope that the claimant does not know any better.
