Medical for PIP

Hi everyone i hope everyone is ok i just wanted to give you an update on my PIP outcome! sorry its a bit late i have been in hospital getting another mastectomy and just got home today.
So when i got home the brown envelope was waiting i had already got a text to say i had been awarded PIP but had not idea of the rate! So i opened the letter and i have been awarded Enhanced for both Daily Living and Mobility to say i am stunned is an understatement! i didnt think i would actually be successful and was gearing myself up for appeal!
I want to thank Benefits and Work for all the guides and the moderators who do such a fantastic job especially Mrs Hurtyback and Gordon who replied to my questions.
My ESA is up for renewal at the end of the year so i will be using guides to help me with that! I have a question regarding my award it says on the letter they will be contacting me to see if my needs have changed but this will be after 10th July 2018 will this be the case of will they contact me next year?

If the letter says 'we will contact you after' then I think you should be OK.

Thanks Mrs H i know ESA and PIP are two different benefits but in your experience do you think me being awarded PIP will help with my ESA? I am trying to enjoy the fact i was awarded PIP but the ESA renewal is in the back of my mind.
