That's great news Eve! Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W :)

As you did not have a face2face, the form you want is the ESA85a, it should not take long to arrive once you have requested it.

Of course, it is entirely up to you if/when you apply for PIP. Have you taken our self-test?

I did the pip test and passed with flying colours. With the help of your guides and advice i am hoping for the best. At the same time keeping my feet firmly on the ground,as i know how hard a benefit pip is to get.I have sent a letter to the decision maker for a copy of my esa 85a form to the address on the letter i got the decision from.Thxs again i could not have done it without you guys.

hi mrs Hurtyback
I called the benefit office to find out how long till my next assessment. They informed me i wii be reassessed nov/2017. I was really upset as i have severe COPD. I sent in a lot of evidence from a top respiratory consultant. And informing them that i would not get significantly better.yet i will have to go through all this again in eighteen months time. How can this be with a progressive and no sign of a cure for this awful condition.

I'm afraid the DWP are ever optimistic of a claimant recovering from their conditions, however, unlikely this may seem to their doctors.

The whole ethos of the Welfare Reforms was that claimants would be subject to frequent assessments rather than being allowed to 'languish on benefits' (their words, not mine)
