PIP TRIBUNAL

thanks again for your support,, well i recieved the wad of paperwork yesterday morning , i rang that lady from welfare benefit and ide just missed her ,so hopefully will get to speak to her monday now. ,on the dwp report in the pack it asking that it be dismissed as they believe they have made the correct desision , so my anxiety was through the roof yesterday , ive sent a letter to my surgery to ask for certain records as two of my loer lumber disc are worn and bulky and none of this is mentioned in any of the reports ,so me hoping if i get comfirmation ofthis it nay help my case as well as my state of mental health plus oestio athritus , ive read through all the paperwork and capita did contact the psychtherapist and she filled in paperwork of my conditions etc but reading it she put down that i possibly could undertake a journey with a family member ,,thus probably why i was awarded only 4 points for followin a journey,, but i have made t clear in my submissions that no amount of prompting is of any use to me as i need supervision throughout the journey constantly n order for my safety and others as ive run into a busy road before now just in a state of overwhelming distress, and panic ,, cant use public transport at all and can only go n my parent car wen do go doctors,.,so i hope ime doing these submsion right now ,on pins now as i want this lady to go through them to check there ok,., am trying to think posstive best i can but i know on the day ile prob just fall to pieces as soon as i get in the room ,i find it difficult to even speak and explain to my doctor how i feel never mind complete strangers ,.ive not had a drink for over 5 yrs through choice but i will certainly be having a toast if i manage to succeed brenda,. lol. x

Regarding the DWP decision,take no notice of it,i read through Davids and i got angry at them too !
As for you falling too pieces on the day ,that is not a bad thing as it will allow the panel too see exactly that the DWP decision was wrong....
You have done right too get any evidence you can from the GP,it will help your case Alison.
It is very stressful what you are going through but you will be successful i have every confidence in you Alison ,too go through with this and win your case.
We are still waiting too hear regarding the new payments also the back pay ,as yet we have heard nothing so are still struggling along and waiting for that brown envelope too drop through the door !!
You are doing very well Alison ! and keep trying too realize you are not in anyway being other than honest and they will see this for theirselfs on the day

Morning Alison,
Rang the carers today too see if i can put my claim in for the carers allowance, as there was no evidence of David being on PIP as yet my claim was void !
As the the carers advised me too ring the PIP and ask for a update i did as advised ,
The PIP advised me that after a tribunal award ,the DWP are allowed 28 days too appeal the decision ,as the 28 days where up today ,the process is now too wait for the DWP appeal team too process the claim which can take up to 2/4 weeks ,she did say that they have caught up with the backlog !
So we still wait and cope with our limited income.
Alison please keep me updated as too how you are doing too !

ime so glad the dwp havnt appealed against tribunal decision nothing puts it past me when it comes to them, , after hearing so many stories on this site what people have been put through !! .my daughter printed the submissions yesterday for me she helped me with and that lady rang me yesterday morning as she promised she asked if i could pop the paperwork up to her as she was unable to come to mine as overloaded with work as shes only back partime at present ,so my son dropped them off yesterday afternoon ,she said she gonna look through everything now then ring me soon as shes upto date with my claim ,,said i did good in asking for medical evidence she also said any statements from close family members will all help too as they are my unpaid carers and know more than anyone hpw much care ime in need of daily ,lets hope they will sort davids money and backpay out real soon for you ,,i have read on here they can take upto 8 weeks to sort it out after a appeal ,makes you laugh realy as if they have overpaid you they quick to sort that out ,,but them owing you money is a different ball game ,i can imagine how hard it must be for you struggling with very little at moment waiting ,if only these people lived one day in our shoes just to see how difficult it is to manage !! maybe it would open there eyes a bit to see how the real world lives , i no its there job and have to go along with rules of the goverment but ide rather be unemployed than work for dwp ,cause i certainly wouldnt be able to do some of there jobs like decision making for one ,,some must have thick skin that all i can say in order to be able to disregard evidence that is front of them from speacialist etc and still claim your not entitled to any award ,,how they can sleep at night is beyond thinking!! .will keep you updated and as always thankyou for being here for me , x

Your evidence is coming along nicely ....getting a good case together you are .....
Has this lady who is helping you said that she will accompany you too the tribunal too..
She is correct in saying too get family or friends evidence as it all helps the judge too build up a picture of how your daily life is dictated too by your disabilities!
I take my hat off too all those volunteers and benefit officers, charities who work so hard too support those in need of advice or support,such selfless hard workers trying their hardest too make a change in the world and too some that change ,changes their whole world !
what would we do without them Alison,as i know i would never have been able too attend the tribunal without the support and transport we were so fortunate too have !

hi brenda ,
i havnt met the lady yet only spoken on the phone to her so not sure what is what at moment ,,i havnt even asked if she would attend with me ,,i do have my daughter who will come with me to the tribunal as shes mainly my carer so hopefully shele be able to give her sode of what she actualy doess for me ,i hope anyway,, had a call from my surgery today as well ,they have managed to get the informationof the medical evidence i asked for and the charge is £25 so my daughter is going to pick them up for me thursday ,hope the info they have copied now will be what i need and be of some use for my appeal,..,i was looking at my initial copy of the pip 2 form i filled in , i didnt put enough info down ,had no idea at that time how best to answer the question ,until i became a member on here and looked through the guides , ime useless at filling in forms and even though took me few days to complete it i missed alot of answer out ,so hope that isnt going to go against me now ,will hopefully be able to send the info and submission and letters i have now friday recorded delivery ,and try and not stress too much until i hear back from them not sure how long that will take bt hopefully sooner the better ,be glad when its over with now , can understand completely how you must of been having to go through this its very stressfull isnt it brenda, .
