Interested to know has anyone got invited to claim pip in North Ireland. My dla finishes early December but as yet have heard nothing from dwp. Age 61 ,thought you had to be invited to claim 20 weeks before dla renewal was up. Don't want to contact dwp as unsure.
Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Sorry cannot seem to download pip help info, what am I doing wrong

Indefinite awards do not go live until the end of the year.

You are right that fixed term awards require a 20 week lead time, PIP became active in Northern Ireland in late June, so I would not expect any invitations to have been issued because of awards ending until early November.

The above is badly worded, I would not expect in invitations to be issued for claims ending before early November, these claims should expect a DLA renewal about 13 weeks before the claim ends. Claims ending after this should expect a PIP invitation.

Any Change of Circumstances will result in an immediate invitation to claim PIP.

Are you getting an error message when you try to download the guides.

My Dla was due to expire in December, this year. Only awarded it last august after appeal as part of a 2 year award. Received the invitation to apply in August and have just had my face to face assessment this morning.in their assessment centre.

Hi Ruth, from Northern Ireland also, you will probably have to apply for DLA again as there is no sign of PIP at present although you would have thought you would have already have received the forms by now, got my DLA forms in April, on middle rate care, took 10 weeks for it to returned DLA care for another 2 years, hope this helps.

All applications after August this year in Northern Ireland are now for PIP. no more DLA applications, I got the letter inviting me to apply for PIP back in August even though my DLA award doesn't end until December this year. AS I said I had my F2F assessment on Tuesday, now just have to wait for the DM to notify me, which according to the HP could take 6-8 weeks.
