Thanks I will do that. I am genuinely afraid to complain about this Compliance officer's behaviour
in case it makes things worse.
I will wait and see what happens tomorrow . This is harrowing.

Just a quick update. I made a complaint about the Compliance Officer.I have since spoken to her
today and she was much more polite and she informed me that my case is not a criminal one but is a civil case and that DWP are just looking at the possibility of recovering some money from me. Whew ! It's around £5000 perhaps a bit less.
I genuinely believe I have done nothing wrong .by gifting my son . I would rather be penniless than ever go through this again.I would never steal from the tax payer and I mean that.
I will happily pay back any monies I should not have had should DWP require it.
So, be careful folks don't end up like me.
Thanks for the help and support.

Hello, is it possible to send my own supporting evidence to the decision maker rather than pass it via this vile Compliance Officer I have had to deal with? She is going to take a final statement from me soon but I want to spend as little time as humanly possible with her as she is so vile rude and aggressive.
I believe I have some very good supporting evidence that will prove I did nothing wrong.
I have tried to speak to the manager at the Compliance department but they refused to even tell me that persons name and insisted I have to go through the vile person that has dealt with my case.
Many thanks

Yes and know. At this time there may not even be a Decision Maker assigned to your case, you can try sending information marked for the attention of the DM to the office dealing with your claim, but it may simply be passed down to the Compliance Officer.

Once a Decision is made then you can definitely communicate with the DM and the CM will no longer be involved.

Cheers and thanks . The vile compliance officer is coming back yet again this week. So fed up now .I just want to see the back of her. No matter what they suspect you of they have no right to be so rude and aggressive. Her distaste and hatred for the likes of me is obvious
Will report back when it is all over

Hello, Is there any sort of time frame that a compliance investigation should be reasonably concluded in ? ,My first appointment was back in August but because I am on PIP (ful) and in Support Group I asked that the Compliance Officer visit me.She came to me in Spetember .I gave her some accounts and a statement. Then she returned to my home about a month later and I gave her more accounts .
Now she was supposed to come AGAIN this week but has cancelled at the very last minute . I had cancelled a long awaited Doctors appointment expecting her to turn up here as agreed I have more information to give her that she requested and have had it ready for two weeks.
I have offered to post it to her but she has not accepted that.At one point she said she would send me a pre addressed envelope to put the further information in but has failed to do so. I am fed up. I would go into her office but on many days I am in extreme pain and doped up on morphine. She knows this.
I rang Job Centre Plus and asked to speak to the manager at the Complaince Office but they refused to tell me their name or contact details.
My MP's assistant contacted DWP. About ten days ago on my behalf and they promised to expedite this but have not.
Is there ANYTHING I can do ? I just want to give them the information they require in order to get this sorted out.
I appreciate they are busy but it is getting silly. The compliance officer now says she will come to see me in December but even then might not have time to definately come .
Then she says this will drag on past xmas even after it goes to decision makers.
I desperately want this sorting.
Thanks for any help sorry for long post
