Hi,

Well, its that time, have my assessment at 9 in the morning. So worried about over sleeping though as i dont sleep well and usually get up around 2ish till 5-6......if i do wake up, I think I will have to stay up.

Reading through my further information stuff...................obviously, not looking forward to it it, but grateful it has come before christmas, would hate to have it hanging over my head through christmas.

Will feedback to you tomorrow.

Ok, so had my assessment.

Unfortunately extremely tired, not much sleep and had to take a tramadol before I went.

The assessment took approx 40 mins. What i realised when i got home was she didnt really ask me questions I was expecting: about going out and mobiltiy (although the mobility bit came up through the assessment), but not much at all. It wasnt half as bad as I as expecting, and surprisingly, I didnt feel nervous at all!!?? I just told her what my life was like since getting this condition, the questions like do you watch tv , computer etc, i just answered honestly................sometimes, but..............

I just know, I feel like a weight has been lifted, and can now just look forward to seeing my family at christmas.

Thank you so much Gordon, Mrs Hurtyback, whatever the result, your advice and the guides help me to be prepared.................thank you so much
