If you have been on ESA(CB) since 2008 then you should have received the Christmas Bonus each year since then.

Update on award

Well received PIP award letter this morning, standard rate for both, I am more than happy with that. Its until 2019, so I will be going through it again next year. However, I am so grateful for the award, given how difficult it is to actually get one now. I have read the outline of the report from the assessor, now, it is littered with fibs and incorrect statements, I wont challenge, as i do not have the energy. One thing i am perplexed about is the section for Mobility.0 for planning and following a journey, 8 for moving around, stating, you can stand and move unaided more than 20 metres, but no more than 50 meters.............I reported I could walk to approx 100 before experiencing severe pain and discomfort, but, stated it was uncomfortable whatever the distance..............have they split the difference?. Anyway, wanted to thank the whole team at Benefits& work, without which I know I wouldnt have been awarded, you have guided and advised me all the way, for that I will always be grateful. I will continue to visit this site if I may, to see how others are doing and also, maybe share my experience with however might want to listen. The only advice to anyone going through this process, I can only say, use the expertise of the team here:. Gordon, Mrs hurtyback and others, be honest, dont under report or exaggerate, just tell how it is, Thank you once again Gordon and Mrs Hurtyback it was a team that helped me get this award...................xxx

Congratulations on the award.

The distance could be because they accepted that you could not repeatedly walk more than 50m based on the fact that you said that you could not walk 100m, but it's just a guess.
