Thank you Gordon for your advice the ftf is at home my son is going to be with me hence why I was worried that the matter would be mentioned so I will take your advice and write the letter and give it to the assessor before the assessment starts I'll will let you know how it goes but once again thank you you don't realize how much of a help you are :)

:( I CANT BELIEVE IT my ftf was today at 11-45 had a phone call at 12-15 my son answered the phone to be told the assessment has been cancelled because the assessor has phoned in sick :( couldnt offer me another appointment will let me know when one becomes available

Thanks for your rely and the link can I just ask when they spoke to my son today regarding the cancellation my son explained the state I was in as I said they could not offer an other appointment so he gave them his number and said I don't answer my phone to numbers I don't know and asked could they ring him when they have another appointment she said that would be OK when he got home from work he rang them at 7pm this evening she said do you want me to try and arrange an appointment for the morning he said no because I was still in a state from this morning so she said we will have to send you an appointment through the post I thought there had to be so many days notice for an appointment could you give me any advice please also do I send the letter to the address I sent the AR1 form to thanks

They are required to give you seven days written notice which includes postage, you can accept a short notice appointment, but the Decision is yours.

Thank you Gordon so in your opinion because of my son saying no to the tomorrow morning appointment would this count as a refusal don't get me wrong I want to get the ftf over with as soon as possible but i have been in a state for days and then the cancellation I have been Ill all day I've read the link Mrs hurtyback sent me do I send the letter regarding the cancellation to the same address I sent the AR1 form to thanks
