I have had 3 letters this year from Job Centre plus:-
first one from Chippenham Benefit centre

I changed address (Dorset to Devon) and the next one came from
Plymouth Benefit Centre

but the most recent letter (which I assume is the one which says I am continuing in the support group) but just says "we have looked at your claim again .......etc"
came from Caerphilly Benefit Centre, Post handling site B, Wolverhampton

I would have thought the Plymouth Benefit Centre was my local, but the decision letter came from Caerphilly Benefit Centre - could I send a request to both of them just to cover all possibilities?

PS why I don't they send everyone a ESA72 form when they reach a decision instead of this cryptic one they send out (rhetorical question - I don't expect you to know the answer  )

Hi FL2,

Congratulations on The SG Award !! :)

It shouldn't matter which one of the Benefits Offices that you send your SAR to, as it should be redirected to The DWP Data Controller for your area.

I would probably be inclined to address it to my local office.

Nearly all DWP mail is now being processed through Wolverhampton, where it is opened, sorted and redirected to the appropriate office.

I would address it : FAO The DWP Data Controller, and write DPA 1998 SAR in front, top, left corner :

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

SAR Form Download

From this page :

DWP Data Protection Policy

My comments are reiterated in a previous post of mine : Here.
