Requesting a statement of reason

I am getting a little worried that I have not received it yet and I know I am running out of time to send in my appeal. Do you know if these take a while to be sent out, should I just appeal with out seeing it. I am trying to get into the support group as I feel that I meet the descriptors ie I cannot mobilise 20 mtrs without stopping and being in pain the moment I start to mobilise.
Thank you in advance.

To be honest, you may be wasting your time waiting for a written Statement of Reasons, in all of the time I have been moderating I know of only one member who has actually received one.
The problem is that there is no defined format for a SoR and the DWP often take the view that they have already supplied the information and therefore do not need to do so again.
The most important thing is to lodge your appeal, have a look at our ESA Appeal guide as to how to fill in the GL24 Appeal form, you do not need to go into detail. Have a look at the following links the last one explains what documents you can request from the DWP.
How long do I have to appeal?

Hi sm,
It is most likely that it would be an : ESA 113 Questionnaire
