The shock of the New.... 2 months 2 days ago #246370

Yes, ditto.
I have been warned by the generous acts of kindness and affection , I've been hearing about.
Good versus Evil has been around since the beginning. Too much bad news makes me feel very sad. I'm glad to hear of so many acts of kindness. I liked your post it was heartwarming. Take care kind person. Warm wishes.

I hear your pain and frustration.
I hope you feel the compassion and love on here as we are all supported by each other in similar situations. Please don't feel alone. Bitterness limits our emotions and keeps us in a cycle that is unpleasant.
This site is so supportive that offers much care and advice. I hope you soon find that sort of support in your community. We may be poor, or vulnerable but we are proud and compassionate- caring. Therefore we are rich in a way that is valuable, no money or wealth can buy the support you will find in like minded people with open generous hearts. I hope you find peace and love again. Warm wishes.

Although most people knew we were going to get another pandemic at some point the reality is truly shocking and I wouldn't wish distress on anyone. However, when people start shouting that they couldn't possibly manage on £96 a week, it wouldn't cover half their bill's and will leave them in poverty I do hope that they remember that when we come through the other side.

I do marvel at the inventiveness of humans and warmed by how people are coming together. I also think that, unlike austerity, we really are all in this together. Sure the rich can isolate in luxury and don't have to worry at the rising costs of staples but the virus doesn't discriminate. And thank goodness for technology, can you imagine this situation 15 years ago?

A big Thank You to this website and moderators too.
