Appointee 1 week 4 days ago #252185

Could you please advise me on the following question please? I live in the UK and I am the Appointee for my daughter who is now living in an EU country, and is too ill to manage her own DWP affairs. As her Appointee, should I be sent the ESA-N-50 form for completion for her ESA Limited Capability for Work Questionnaire ? The DWP have sent it to her address in the EU and she is unable to complete it as she suffers from several long term illnesses. She is very distressed about being sent this as I have always completed her forms in the past..Many thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

My understanding of an appointeeship is that you should have received the form, however, your situation is unusual and the DWP may have taken the view that you would not be in a position to complete the form if you are not in the same country as your daughter,

All I can suggest at this time is for you to call the DWP about the form being sent to see what they say.
