How long to wait for PIP Tribunal? was created by Mackemlass
We've gone through the Mandatory Reconsideration stage, and there's been no change to PIP points awarded, surprise surprise.. We've just submitted an SSCS1 Appeal form to go to Tribunal and we're gathering more evidence specific to the activities in dispute..
Meanwhile, do you have any idea on waiting times, i.e. could you give a 'best guess' on what month the Tribunal is likely to take place? We're wondering if it will even be this year.
We don't now if waiting times vary from area to area. We live in Hertfordshire.

You are certainly looking at 2-3 months, once the appeal is accepted by the TS contact them and they should be able to give you a more accurate wait time, some areas have significantly longer queues.

Good grief, that's atrocious! Eight months! If we have to wait that long then it will be just about the time we'll be expecting to renew the PIP claim. Madness. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that there are people with common sense at the tribunal and we all get the awards we're entitled to. Good luck to you.

Update, just in case anyone's interested... We finally have a tribunal date... FRIDAY 13TH April 2018.
So, a seven month wait and then we get Friday the 13th. No time to be superstitious!
