Unfortunately my referral is still waiting to be reviewed by the Healthcare Professional, which they hope to complete soon, is what I got told yesterday...
Maybe different areas are quicker at processing.....,

Hi all I phoned the DWP today to ask if there was any information regarding my ESA reassessment form sent back on Feb 21st. I had already emailed Maximus in June who said that my form was with them & would be looked at by a health professional & a decision would be sent to me shortly...So after 33 weeks of wondering what was happening I was told that a decision was made & I would remain in the SG group till 2020.. So to all those who have waited patiently on a decision on your ESA reassessment do what I did & put your mind at rest. Phone the DWP & ask what's happening... I got a great result hopefully you'll get the same or at least get an update as to what's happening....

Hi
Having waited so far 30 weeks , for my reassessment decision( currently SG - contribution based) and having had 3 appointments cancelled by CHDA, I emailed CHDA asking reason behind appointment cancellations, and I was happy to find out that I did not now need a face to face via an email .in which they stated they can provide advise with the evidence they now hold.
Think this may have been due to me being assessed and Awarded PIP Enhanced Mobility and Standard Care - I sent a copy of the Award Entilement to CHDA about 2 weeks before last appointment was cancelled.

I received a further email from CHDA stating that my referral was closed by CHDA and had been sent back to DWP on 18th Jan. and a decision maker would write to me ASAP
I phoned DWP today to be told it’s not been logged onto their system yet, although they looked at CHDA’s system and confirmed they had closed the referral and sent it back.

My question is this normal for this to take so long to be logged onto DWP system?
I naively thought that it would only take 2-4 weeks from referral being closed by CHDA either by way of an assessment or by a paper based assessment is this not the case ?
Would appreciate any guidance on this.

I would chase CHDA for confirmation that the report has been returned to the DWP.

Hi Gordon
Thankyou for your prompt reply
I emailed CHDA yesterday and they replied via email and confirmed that they closed my referral on the 18th Jan and and the system they share with DWP the advise from their HCP is available to see.
When I spoke with someone from DWP they confirmed they can see the advise but they are waiting for the info to be logged onto their system, don’t fully understand that and there is a backlog so it may take a while . DWP seem to imply that a file is couriered over from CHDA to DWP that was my understanding..
